My new Book is here!
For those wondering where I have been and clamoring for commentary, pontifications, insights (or lack thereof), I have been very busy writing a book about a subject which followers know I am passionate about: The St. Louis Blues. (I promise that this is the last blog about the Blues for awhile.)
If you are from the Lou, follow hockey or sports in general or at least have some semblance of your surroundings and world events, the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup in June! It was the franchise’s first Championship in 52 years and 51 seasons and is a truly a remarkable story.
Drawing upon my decades of personal experience with the team and gaining the insights and stories of several insiders (ex-players and employees) who I interviewed for this book, I tell the history of the Blues from the inception though this year’s miraculous achievement from the perspective of the fan. While the book is naturally heavy on hockey, it also strives to provide entertainment, humor and unique stories that even those who are not addicted to the sport might still enjoy.
