My name is Mark Sophir. I’m a (former) redhead, avid tennis player and sports fan, and lifelong St. Louisan, except for seven years attending college and law school in Austin, Texas.
So yeah I’m a lawyer (insert favorite joke). I am also a college professor (if that helps you like me any better) and my wife is an intensive care nurse (which should really increase the value of my stock by association). I am also an author- check out My Books on this website.
My most important role is as a husband and a parent. We are blessed with two
wonderful adult children and have adopted our fourth amazing dog – Vinny, an English Cream Golden Retriever. He follows in the loyal legacy and large paw prints of a St. Bernard, Golden Retriever, and Bernese Mountain Dog.
The differences between our English Cream and regular Golden Retriever, for those interested, are that he is all white in color, barks with an English accent, and uses the loo instead of the yard.
